This is a top property to stay at. From the moment we arrived we were welcomed by all staff and it a joy to stay here. Relax by having a leisurely walk around the property. There is a beautiful library to enjoy.
The rooms are spacious with the most comfortable bed yet! Well done.
The bar & restaurant staff are all friendly & knowledgeable & from all over the EU.
Take a bike ride around e area & enjoy the pool complex while visiting.
You will not be disappointed here.

We spent a whole week at Sheen Falls and loved every moment of it.

First (and pretty obvious based on the photos), the hotel is beautiful and classy with immaculate, terrific rooms. In fact it's even better than advertised.

It's also ideally located in southwest Ireland (we easily did day trips for the classic Ring of Kerry, the jaw-dropping Dingle Peninsula & its Slea Head Drive, stunning Killarney National Park, and more), though you don't even have to leave the area for a the nice town of Kenmare and lots of nearby nature walks.

The food is superb in both The Falls restaurant (our faves were the dry aged beef dish, the wild garlic & lobster starter, and the can't miss banana souffle) and the more casual bar area (the burger is awesome, believe it or not). We know good food and any reviews saying otherwise either haven't been in years or are very, very confused.

There are terrific, creative activities they can help organize for you. We especially enjoyed wine tasting in the cellar with sommelier turned restaurant manager Jerome (an unforgettable experience) and falconry with the brilliant, funny, and knowledgeable Jeff (we held a hawk, beautiful owls, and more-- don't miss this one).

Above all, the staff is extraordinarily friendly and interested-- and especially Ciaran, who runs the restaurant and went out of his way time and time again to help make the most of every day. It's rare to find a hotel at this level where every staff member stops and engages with you instead of being constantly on the move and looking over your shoulder. This leads to an entirely different, elevated experience that's more personal, comfortable, and relaxed-- it's wonderful.

Sheen Falls is by far the best property we stayed at in Ireland and we can't wait to return very, very soon!

The Sheen Lodge could not be better located to wrap you in the magical beauty of Ireland's southwest. The Lodge is located on a roaring river only 75 feet from the tables in the bar and the dining room,. A great central location for exploring Ring of Kerry and the Dingle Peninsula. The staff is helpful and friendly. Two restaurants serve very good food with excellent service. The fine dining restaurant was excellent and the staff trained to high European standards. The rooms were comfortable, reasonably large and featured walk-in showers and baths.

Room tip: Ask for a view of the river.

What a fantastic hotel - from the time you arrive outside the front door, until the time you leave, the wonderful and extremely pleasant and helpful staff, the attention to detail, the rooms, the comfort. Worth going for the breakfast alone. Nothing is too much trouble. A wonderful sense of calm and somewhere you can definitely relax. We just can't wait to go again.

Room tip: My room even though it was in the front of the hotel was never noisey, had great views and would request it again.

This is a very elegant hotel (not too big) with lovely furnishings and superb service. Situated just outside Kenmare it is ideally situated for exploring this beautiful part of the world. The food served in the hotel is fabulous and the staff are informative and very helpful. Views are of a lovely estuary and the tumbling river to the rear of the hotel. This hotel/lodge is an absolute gem!
