Booked a house in Pairc an Callan again for a weekend for a group of people in October. A great stay once again, lovely house, very nice condition, nothing was an issue with key collection and dropping off.

Just a 15 min stroll to the town centre. Will definitely recommend and will be booking again

Family of 4 stayed here for 3 nights at the weekend. I had specifically requested the house be Immaculately clean because of my sons allergies, The house smelt really bad it wasn't welcoming, I felt I had to clean the minute we arrived and you dont want to be doing that! The ensuite shower was disgraceful in the bedroom. The description of the property needs to be updated because there was no electric kettle, flat screen TV, washing machine had no Buttons it was broke. We were charged €15 for the electricity which was fairly cheeky considering we had a tiny box tv with like 4 channels, no washing machine and no electric kettle(the "oven" was actually a grill). We had to stop in the local garage to get directions because we were circulating the town and there was no signs(The sign to the estate was also covered by overgrown bushes we would have never found it). I couldn't get through to the property manager Jessica the day before or when we were on route so its not reliable either as Jessica was very rude when I spoke to her on the phone when we arrived in the estate, we were an hour early but we wanted to make sure we could find the place as we were coming from cork with two young children. I would suggest looking elsewhere first as this house was not worth the money priced for 3 nights. There are family's living here all year round also with young children so that was the only bonus really!

Stayed in one of the Pairc An Callan houses over the Halloween Weekend of 2015. Went down on the Friday night and home again on the Sunday morning. We were given the details for our contact at the house.

I made contact with our 'caretaker' Jessica before we headed down and arranged a meeting time. She was good enough to have the heating on in the house prior to our arrival and left the property open and key for us inside.

The house itself suited our needs perfectly. Decent sized kitchen, with all the facilities, living room and downstairs toilet. Upstairs three bedrooms, one large double with en suite, one twin room and one room with a smaller double bed and the bathroom with shower in the bath.

Departure on Sunday was due to be 11am but having made contact again with Jessica on the Sunday morning we were assured as there was nobody else due to check in (Nov 1st, quiet time) there was no rush. Jessica came to collect the cash for the ESB (€7 per night) and asked us to leave the key when we left and text her. Great friendly service offered.

The houses are around a 20 minute walk into the town which on a fine day, or late at night, you don't notice or mind in the least.

Would recommend to another group looking for a place to stay

We stayed here for two nights, great price split between 5 so very cheap! In a very beautiful town with lots of activities to do. This accommodation has lovely rooms, a large double bedroom (ensuite), a twin room and small double room, these were very comfortable and had lots of wardrobe space. Living room with two sofas and TV. Kitchen for 6 with all kitchen appliances supplied, need to bring your own food, washing up liquid etc. Bathrooms are small and shower in ensuite difficult to open. You need to take your own towels, toilet roll etc (super value and Lidl not to far away)
Overall it was perfect for what we needed as we did not spend a lot of time in this accommodation (due to attending a family wedding in another location) it was cheap and provided what we needed for our short stay!!

Booked this house as we needed to be in Kenmare for a two night weekend and couldn't find anything else. On arrival we met Jessica who told us which house we were in. As there was just myself, my husband and our grown up daughter she didn't take the deposit and this would have proved difficult to get back as we were due to leave the property at 8.30 am and she was not available to meet us at that time. The house was ok. Beds were comfy. Linen was good. Towels are not provided. One dishwasher tablet is provided.!!!….bathrooms are clean but the showers were a bit moldy and hard to open the doors of the ensuite. What I really didn't like was the fact that the floor covering all over the house was stained….and I mean stained everywhere…..huge blobs of stains…not nice…..it cost us 300 euro for the 3 nights…as a previous reviewer said the location is good, 10 mins walk to the square and super value is close by. the rear gardens are awful with just patchy grass…and the views into the other gardens? not good…..
