Stopped off here and they have a great gift shop with local artisan items. REALLY friendly and helpful. Interesting to see the Irish heritage.

“Experience Irish life and hospitality”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 20 February 2017

A must for all ages as you discover what life was like in rural Ireland before modern conveniences reached this area not so long ago. Whether you stop by for tea and scones, shop for family keepsakes, tour the farm, make poitin (whiskey) with your host be sure to ask about participating in "The Homecoming", an evening at Molly Gallivan's with your delightful owners and hosts the O'Sullivan's and their neighbors for the Homecoming experience...a MUST!

“True Irish Tradition”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 7 December 2016

Molly Gallivan's old home is famous not only for its fine traditional cuisine, but for the history of the farm it sit on. Molly was famous for her homemade brew and while that is no longer available, good wine and beer is available to go with the Irish tucker. A good range of Irish gifts and gear is also available in the on site gift shop.

“Very nice place with great views across the way”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 16 November 2016 via mobile

This is a nice stop to get some great photos and a coffee. I'm not sure if there is food here, we just wanted coffee and pictures. There is an old truck out front that looks like it probably still runs. there are druid statues carved from wood. Across the street is a place to get nice pictures of a valley.

“Worth a visit”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 10 November 2016

We stumbled across this attraction by accident, it has a good shop to purchase local gifts etc, and a small coffee shop attached to it, we stopped for coffee and found there was much more to see.
The visitor centre gives a flavour of life from times gone by, hard times. We all enjoyed the walk around the site, a video presentation before your visit setts the scene.
Welcoming and informative staff ,make this worth the time to stop and view the exhibits, take a coffee and maybe do a little gift shopping.
We will return should we be passing the area again.
