Done the Sea Safari, was very enjoyable, great fun and knowledgeable guides who made the whole experience fun. Really recommend to do it and great value for money.
Thanks to John and Philip for an absolute fantastic sea safari. John made everyone feel at ease and had lots of knowledge to pass on to us. We got to see so many amazing sights, Sás Creek, Maharees islands, Brandon Point and the dolphins topped it all off. We saw 2 different pods of dolphins, adults and babies it was just magical!! The children were so excited- they can’t wait to go again! Can’t recommend this enough- We were blessed with the weather and sea conditions- but it would be amazing on any day. What a great trip out and a great addition for local tourism. Will definitely be going again!
We went on the sea safari yesterday and would highly recommend it.
To view the Dingle peninsula from the ocean with the spectacular views of the seven hogs islands, beaches and Brandon head was amazing. Then the icing on the cake was to see two different pods of dolphins swimming all around us, both bottle nose and common dolphins, hundreds of them! A definite to do when in the area !!
We had the most amazing time on the sea safari, 2 adults and 4 kids, everybody had a ball, the weather was brilliant, a trip to learys Island is a must, with its monastic site, peace and tranquility and stunning views, with our very knowledgable skipper, tourguide, comedian Philip.
After our stop-off on the island we headed out to sea, our luck was in there was pods of dolphins all around us, up close and very inquisitive along side of boat swimming under the boat, they were everywhere, an amazing site was seeing two male dolphins try to seek the attention of a female dolphin, there was so much going on, Philip had said he had never seen this before in all his time doing this, it was an amazing experience. I would highly recommend this for all sea farers. Back at base the kids had a ball, including the big kids, with hours of fun, with the Aqua Park, kayaking, pedal boats, body boarding on the back beach a great adventure had by all.
Great location, great value for money, and for accommodation I would highly recommend the Harbour House luxury accommodation , Great facilities including its indoor pool, you don't get that every day, one happy family can't wait to get back.
We went on a safari boat trip today with splash sports. We enjoyed it tremendously it was thrilling. We had beautiful spectacular views of the coast line and local islands. The captain was extremely knowledgeable re local history and had no problem sharing with us. He was friendly courteous and had a good sense of humor and interacted well with all clients. we didn't get to see dolphins and that did not dampen or our spirits or take form the trip. We had an 8 year old on board with us and it was totally enjoyable and suitable for her. I would highly recommend the trip to anyone thinking of trying it.
Where do I start? This was an unbelievable day out on the boat trip. 2 adults and 4 kids. Philip was very professional, witty and helpful, put the kids at ease as 2 of them were quiet nervous. Leary’s island was magnificent and could have spent the day at the monastic site. Pure peace. The only bit of noise was from the seagulls which were very entertaining. We set off from Leary’s island to go find the resident pod of dolphins, didn’t take long. What a sight, there must have been at least 30 of them!!! They came right up to the boat and darted dived and jumped. We were very lucky as the males were trying to show off to a female in the pod to mate. Philip said this was very rare thing to see. Couldn’t rate this trip high enough. Kids are still on about it!!! We will definitely be back sooner rather than later.
