“Great House with lots of extras for kids and adults”
Reviewed 1 September 2014 for a stay in August 2014

We loved this house. It's very spacious and well laid out. The bedrooms are lovely with plenty of space, comfy bed and good storage. The house is down a small country road which is very quiet and has great views of the mountains. It takes about 10 mins to walk to the village where there are lots of lovely restaurants and cafes to try out. We visited Moes cafe and Pisces and both were very good.
We stayed with two young children and all the games, DVDs, books and arts and crafts left by Marion came in very handy. We had lots of fun playing board games on the raining days!
The house is an ideal base as you are a short drive or walk to the beach and you are also very close to Tralee and Dingle for day trips.

“Lovely well, equipped house in great location”

We stayed (4 adults and 1 toddler) in Coolroe. It is a beautifully decorated house (and looks exactly like it does in the photos) in a great location. Marion provided us with a travel cot, high chair, picnic equipment, and anything you might need for a holiday in Kerry.
The location was great for touring around Kerry and the local village has all the amenities you might need. We had a great time and I would have no hesitation in recommending this to anyone.

“Relaxing house in beautiful location”

We stayed at Coolroe in August. We are a family of 5, with kids aged between 9 months and 9 years and found both the house and location perfect.

The bungalow was a good size and was very well equipped with everything we needed -there were even body boards, walking sticks and wet suits! Family Board games were also a nice additional touch, as were maps of the local area. We were very comfortable throughout our stay and it was a lovely house to return to after busy days out. Lovely large garden as well. We never tired of just gazing out of the windows at the mountains.

The area itself is stunning, amazing mountains and beautiful beaches. There is plenty to see and do. Beaches and the local village are all short and enjoyable walks from the house.

Marion was always very helpful and made us feel extremely welcome, choccy biscuits and fresh scones on arrival were a lovely surprise, along with fresh milk in the fridge.

We had a fabulous holiday, and wouldn't hesitate to recommend booking this house.

“Brilliant House and idealic Location”

My family and I stayed here for nearly two weeks. The house was brilliant. It was very comfortable, clean and welcoming. Marion has added lovely homely touches. The location to the village was ideal. We enjoyed the peace and serenity of the countryside while a short walk of approximately ten minutes took us into Castlegregory village. The family room in the house was fantastic for our children aged 11 and 14. They were able to chill after a fun packed day at the beach with the many DVDs and games supplied courtesy of Marion - Excellent!!! We would highly this house if you need to get away from the hustle and bustle of life and totally unwind in this idealic location. Thanks Marion
