We travelled as a family - children were between 8 and 13. We had a very warm welcome from Rob and Sandra, who are just wonderful and who will make sure all is well and that your holiday goes as smoothly as possible. The idyllic villa is very comfortable and the garden holds lots of fresh produce in the summer, which was a treat! We explored the area - from the local lake, to the caves, to the wonderful, medieval city of Veliko Tarnovo and had some fabulous days out. We did drive back one night through a good thunder-storm, but watching the lightning just added to the excitement! Coming from the UK, Bulgaria was very different to anywhere else we'd ever visited so it felt like a proper adventure abroad combined with a relaxing, warm, sunny holiday!
