My mother and I spent a weekend here and had a fantastic time. The house is beautiful. And the hospitality of Cheryl and Pat second to none.
Food fantastic and the accommodation comfortably and spotless.
Highly recommended.

Our 3rd stay at this fantastic b and b. Cheryl is the perfect host and can't do enough to make you at home. Our dog is always welcomed too and this year our baby too.
Breakfast is top class, rooms are spacious and spotless, parking on site. Very relaxed atmosphere.
Even better, there is a pub opposite which does excellent food for very reasonable prices. And another 2 pubs within a 15 min walk on pavements. All these pubs are dog friendly.
Thank you!

What a beautiful establishment and a great find! The house is fabulous - I could have spent days exploring the artworks and artefacts throughout the house and garden. We only had one night here but it was such a relaxing night I felt we had stayed a few days. We had The Hardwick Room, with four poster bed! This was a treat. Lovely bathroom amenities and tea/coffee facilities in the room. Particularly appreciated the flask of real milk! Breakfast was superb and Chez was able to easily accommodate my dietary needs. There are two pubs within easy walking distance. We had a terrific meal in one of them. We visited in Winter and the place was toasty warm. We look forward to visiting again sometime in the warmer months to take advantage of the excellent walking trails of the Peak district nearby. Thanks again Pat and Chez. We loved our brief stay.

Second visit to this wonderful and warmly greeted B&B. It's absolutely spot on in every way. Decorated with taste and spotlessly clean. Breakfast is fantastic and there's even a sausage for the dog! Large bathroom with bath plus large shower cubicle which makes it very comfortable. Everything you could ever need is provided in your room. Pub very close by serves evening meals. Wonderful setting. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend and have done.
