Description: The highly acclaimed Garden Restaurant is perfect for relaxing after shopping. Sink into soft leather sofas with a coffee and the newspapers, or lunch alfresco on the garden terrace and enjoy glass of wine with friends. Serving delicious home-made meals cooked from fresh local produce ensures that lunch times are always a hubbub of activity, so table bookings are strongly recommended at these busy times. Serving breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and light refreshments throughout the day. Everything is freshly prepared by the chef and his team, using produce from the Farm Shop and Fish Shop. We open all day and the chef regularly changes the specials board.

A group of 14 local WI ladies held a celebration Afternoon Tea at this restaurant to mark the Centenary of Wawickshire Federation of WIs. Needless to say, as WI Members, we know a thing or two about tea and cakes. All our ladies were by impressed the high standard of sandwiches, scones and cakes on offer. The staff were courteous and attentive. The tea pots were constantly refilled. Hillers Garden Restaurant never fails to impress and we would thoroughly recommend their Afternoon Tea. One of the best in this area without doubt!

I can truly see why you have to book well ahead for a table for lunch as this place as it was hopping on the two visits we made while on vacation in the area. Although they have lots of seating they fill up quickly. The staff at attentive and efficient. Having seen the produce in the shop I can say without doubt that most of what one eats is locally sourced and fresh. The menu offers lots of choices and is excellent value. The quality of the food is well-above average and plentiful - there was no need for supper for all of my party.
One of our party needed to use a walker to enter and leave and the staff ensured our needs were accommodated and we felt comfortable. And as an aside, if needed, they have a large disabled toilet and ramps to enter the building.

We popped in on Saturday lunchtime (about 12) for a quick bite to eat. We were amazed that all the tables were full or reserved. But the lovely staff were very accommodating and found us a table that didn't have a reservation until 1:15,so we could have it for an hour. We both had their version of Welsh Rarebit and it was delicious. 2 slices of thick cut loaf topped with a delicious mixture with local cheese and with a good side salad. Just what we wanted. I would suggest that you book if you go on a weekend lunchtime, as I am sure their Sunday roasts are also popular!

Came all the way to Hillers to have lunch. Loads of empty tables but all reserved. Waitress was totally unconcerned and unwelcomimg when we asked how long the wait was. Will not be bothering to come here again. I am sure they must be losing money by turning people away like this but their loss.
