We spent three nights here. The room was huge and clean with very comfortable beds - there were three of them, a double and two singles! It did take a while to work out the heating system and we concluded that it was probably not working properly, so it was quite cold at times. The restaurant food was a little disappointing, adequate but not spectacular although breakfast was excellent. Most importantly, the staff were very friendly (especially Karen, in the bar) and they all appeared to enjoy working there. We did not bring a dog with us but the fact that dogs were welcome did not impact on our stay as they were not allowed in the breakfast room and there was a separate bar/dining area for residents with their pets. Overall, a very enjoyable few days away.

This hotel is located opposite lovely coastal walk on a busy main road but is very dog-friendly... you can eat with your dog outside of the breakfast room if you wish, a dog friendly bar where the dogs can sit at your feet... a welcome doggy bag is given on arrival, lots of other dogs and their owners there........doggy heaven:)

Room tip: Rooms to the back are quieter as the front is onto a busy main road, a large car park at the back to bring dogs out for a quick pee

We stayed here for 1 night before heading to the Giants Causeway (about a 15 min drive). The rooms were a great size, we had a family room that was very comfortable for 4 of us. The rooms are clean, if a little dated.

We had dinner there which was really good and great value for money. The sharing platter with lots of steak and chicken was excellent and we could certainly recommend that.

Breakfast was also good, with a decent choice of cooked options from a full breakfast to Eggs Benedict.

Overall the staff were excellent in all departments. I would certainly stay there again.

Firstly the staff were excellent, all of them were very friendly and helpful. Especially the Food and Bev Manager (name is forgotten).
Ate dinner in the restaurant on the our first night, and the food was not great. Very average. Breakfast followed suit. My full Ulster fry was not worthy of the title. !
Overall a lovely place to stay, and if the food improved I would defiantly stay again

We took our Lhasa-Bishon cross with us on this trip. We were blessed with fabulous weather for mid October and enjoyed many long walks on the beach. Being able to take our dog with us to dinner and to breakfast was fabulous. The staff do a great job of keeping the hotel both pet friendly and also clean and dog free for the non dog lovers. Rooms upstairs and the main bar and restaurant are dog free areas but there is a separate restaurant for those with dogs. The hotel manage this seemlessly. The location is also very good as its a short stroll to the west strand and Tides restaurant close by also accommodates dogs (albeit outside). All in all a great experience and good value.
