This is our 2nd year in a row at these cottages and we are already talking about booking for next year. There is such a lovely, relaxed atmosphere here. The cottages have everything you need and are so cosy! They are perfectly located and have both Lidl and Eurospar near by for groceries. We will definitely be back!

Many thanks for the fantastic review Ruth and it was great to see you all again, there really is no better recommendation than to have guests return to stay with us.
We really appreciate it when our guests take time to tell us and others what they found good about our cottages and how they think we might improve.
Hopefully see you back again at Ashlea Cottages.

Ok hopefully third time lucky trying to submit lol!! We'll wow what can I say!! I cannot recommend these cottages highly enough!! We had the best time the cottage was wonderful, immaculate and so comfortable a real home away from home but what made it for us was the owner we all wanted to adopt him!! He went above and beyond to give us wonderful memories!! My daughter is a huge game of thrones fan so he organised a tour for us along the coast with the good man himself being our guide!! We also had the most amazing picnic made by his wonderful daughter from Dora's Tea rooms which is on site with bespoke wedding themed cupcakes, scrumptious sandwiches and outstanding tray bakes with a bottle of fizz!!! We had a night out, he advised us of where to go and was our chauffeur for the night making sure we got back to the cottage safely! Honestly it has been on my mind for a year now as that's how memorable our amazing weekend was! Tom the owner is a true gentleman and we all would highly recommend Ashlea Cottages a real home away from home!! Absolutely outstanding!! Thankyou so much for the wonderful memories

Many thanks for the super review and for taking time to submit it - we really appreciate it.
It is sometimes difficult to cater for a large party where the requirements are very diverse but I hope we managed to keep all age groups happy. Breakfast(and all other times of the day) are great at Dora's and we also appreciate your custom there.

Many thanks for the wonderful review Angie and for taking the time to submit it.
We value guests comments(especially if they are nice ones like yours!) but it was great to see your young ones making use of our games room and our course 'Dora's' tearoom is a great venue for something warm and tempting.
Hope to have you back to stay with us again.
