He does not like to be called a 'chef' but he is... if you want to dine at a comparable restaurant in New York, you have to spend at least 5, 6 times more, and the service/presentarion will never be up to par.
If you visit this Trattoria, opt in for a tasting menu. 2 hours of enogastronomic slow-good experience. Excellent service by the waitress Emma, incredible passion by Andrea and his mother in cooking. This restaurant is huge.
Everything high quality, everything fresh, everything local.
This restaurant is a must every time I go back to Italy, yet everytime different. This time, mascarpone panzerotti with licorice were out of this world.
It is worth the drive from anywhere in Veneto.
