Lovely place providing cosy set of tea and delicious scones. Antiques range from victorian to colonial times are sold at the place. You will love if you are a book lover.

Charlotte's still has some good things, such as their herb bread, but the coffee is poor, and the service can often be lacking and the food cold or only partially heated. Given the number of good food options now, Charlotte's seens stuck in the "Acorn Antiques" mode and although one or two of the staff are excellent, the overall experinec is one where the cutsomer should feel privaledged to be able to eat there!

We’d heard this was a great place for lunch so decided to try it....
Our waitress actually ruined the visit, I felt I was in a Victoria Wood sketch as she made several mistakes with our (relatively easy) order and then kept asking us the same questions over and over (White or brown bread?)
After taking the order she even came back to double check something and STILL the order was t quite right when it came!
Won’t be going back in a hurry

Popped in with Mother for a lite bite to eat. What a quaint little place this is. Eclectic collection of antiques surround you in the delightful teahouse and antique shop. Lovely service from friendly staff. Food is good value for money, freshly prepared and very tasty. Would definitely go back.
