I write this review knowing that by doing so I may be spoiling one of my most favourite spots in Cornwall. This little gem is an outside cafe - perfect, with friendly proprietors, well thought out surrounding and the most wonderful brownies not to mention their environmental credentials. I just do t want anyone to spoil this special place next to my favourite beach.

Thank Jo D

Visited THIRSTEA and Earl the van on a wet Sunday morning near the National Trust car park. A quaint little Citroen van in the pre war style acting as a mobile tea room. The lady serving was really nice and chatty and we had filter coffee while we dodged the rain. Nice touches and service but didn’t sample the cakes nor stay long due to the weather. An unusual take on serving you a cuppa but warm and friendly and definitely worth a visit. Recommend

Spending a glorious day on Towan Beach, this lovely converted vintage Citreon horse box situated up near the car park was a delightful find.

Delicious pasties, beautiful cakes and great coffee made sure the whole family were well looked after.

A great addition to a wonderful location.

We are staying in St Mawes, so took the Place ferry for a family walk round St Anthony’s Head and the coast path. We’d read about the Thirstea Company and hoped we’d find it for lunch. We did, and it was great!

Simple menu, but lovely food, with super-friendly service. It really hit the spot for us!

Definitely worth seeking out...
