5 girlfriends met for a lunchtime catch up and sat outside in the sunshine. We all enjoyed our yummy pub grub... most of us had a pannini with one of us having the scampi and fries. The food was hot, plentiful and very tasty :)

Just visiting Truro whilst on holiday in Cornwall popped in for lunch & we all had burgers of different varietys, the waitress was welcoming and the burger came out in reasonable time, would have preferred my salad on my burger as the menu inferred (topped with) but came on the side, but apart from them, it was nice and filling

Chose this place for a late lunch as I quite like the Tribute and Trelawny on offer. Ordered 1 Huntsman Salad off the Special Board and 1 Carvery Bap served with chips and jug of gravy. Seen as both meals are quite easy to prepare we werent expecting the 45 minute wait for the food to be served. A family of 6 sat on a table near us who ordered at the same waited even longer than us and then 1 of the meals came out to the table after all the others. I was just on my way back to the bar to see where our food was (in case they had forgotten about us) when it arrived. No explaination or apology what the delay was. Couldn't fault the hearty portions which were both very tasty but the wait .. with only Sky News on silent on the TV gets a bit boring due to it's repeativeness .. was a massive negative as time was ticking away on the car park.

Thank you for taking the time to leave your review.

I am sorry you felt the wait of 45 mins for your food was too long. You would have been notified of any delays at the time of ordering. I am sure you noticed that you were not the only diner having lunch with us on Monday. Infact because of the appalling Cornish weather it turned out to be the busiest day of the year so far. We pride ourselves on not being a fast food restaurant and guarantee that your food is cooked to order. The orders go through to the kitchen in time order, however with food being ordered at more than one order point it may sometimes appear that others are served before you. We play music through our sound system and so to have the TV sound on as well would not make for a relaxing environment. We are however pleased to note that you enjoyed your meals.

Time to stop and rest after the Royal Cornwall Museum where we had some drinks and lite bites from burgers ,scampi and jacket potatoes, ice cream. The youngsters enjoyed a game of table tennis while the grown ups caught up with each other after not seeing one another for a while there was also an outdoor TV on the wall in the garden.
