Popped in on Friday afternoon with a friend as we were camping in a nearby campsite, received a very warm welcome, had a pint, pie and chips was lovely.

Great place for Great Pub Grub! Lots of Local Characters. Recommend the Rabbit and Bacon Pie and Prawn Sandwich!

Just been for lunch with my sister and two teenage boys at the end of the summer holidays Beautiful pub and really good well priced food. The freshly made soup was a hit, and my homemade lasagne was delicous. Good friendly service that cared about the customer. Highly recommend. Boys were happy too!

A lovely country style pub with a bit of stone walls, a bit of oak beams, and a bit of flag stone flooring. With interesting lighting and comfortable seating. Good price's for the area (a pint and a large bag of crisps about £4.45) and a very friendly atmosphere. Definitely worth a visit.

We found the pub whilst cycling along to canal from Pontypool to Llangynidir, it was about half a mile off the canal tow path at bridge 115. The pub had just opened when we arrived and the barman was really chatty and interested. We had a ham roll- brioche bun and plenty of hand carved ham, served with chips and salad all fresh and tasty. The decor in the pub is great, loads of quirky little details like the little wooden mice hidden away in the wall in the ladies loo!! A lovely, welcoming, friendly pub
