My wife and I loved this place. The room was vast and well furnished. The service was next to none and the owner was really nice and friendly. Breakfast was massive and was just too much. Hope to go again one day.

Thank you for a most pleasant stay! It was cozy and the bed was amazing with excellent, friendly service, nothing was too much trouble & a fantastic cooked breakfast...Doesn't get any better than this and much better than most Hotels I've stayed in! Thankyou so much!

Room Tip: The double room at the top was lovely & the bed was divine....Didn't want to get up!!!

Very good location, needs refurbishment - bathrooms a little dated and cracked sinks in room. Showers poor on pressure - have to have a bath. Great hostess and breakfast. Offered a real coffee on arrival which was great. No Tv in room.

A wonderful B&B, fabulous views, lovely room and an amazing host, Maxine. A gentle, generous and strong woman who made us feel welcome from the moment she opened the front door. It was my birthday and we came back from a day out to a bottle of wine and a birthday card - customer service taken to an incredible level! Everything about Park Place Guest House is perfect and I would highly recommend this as a base to explore the beautiful Brecon Beacons and surrounding towns.

Room Tip: Every room has views of the mountains

Ideal location being close enough to walk into town and quiet enough to get some sleep after sampling all the real ales! We stayed in the twin room alongside the road and we didn't think it was that noisy with road traffic. Anybody who lives in the city would think the B and B is very quiet. Enough said about breakfast, it's true. We would stay again. Hint, book direct with owner and you don't pay additional fee. Take a torch with you for the late night ramble to the pub.
