Hotel La Bergerie is definitely one of the best boutique hotel that I’ve stayed in. They really have perfected it.
The owners and staff were incredibly helpful, wise, and always took the time to stop for a chat and to ask how we were doing.
The room was ideal, and pristine, and the hotel overall had plenty of amenities. The lounge/bar area had a lovely family vibe, and they even had a heated pool, sauna, and gym.
The breakfast was immaculate, with everything you could possibly want, and was always fully stocked.
The location is perfect, and is right beside the main square, which is handy when you don’t want to walk far after a long day of skiing!
The thing that was super impressive was the staff. They take the time to get to know their guests, which makes you feel right at home, and makes Hotel La Bergerie so special.
10/10 would absolutely recommend, and don’t think we’ll be able to stay anywhere else when in Morzine!

La Bergerie is in my opinion, one of the nicest hotels in the Alps. The owners are both charming and welcoming, the hotel is immaculate, and the food is the best home-cooking in the Haute Savoy. I have frequented this hotel for the last 23 years, and like a fine wine, it has only gotten better with age. I cannot recommend it highly enough.

Fantastic run family chalet hotel with everything you need for a wonderful family holiday. My wife and I visited with our 2 daughters (aged 9 and 5) for their first trip up into the mountains and we couldn’t have had a better experience. The hosts were brilliant, ensuring we had everything we needed from skis and passes to dinner reservations. We very much hope to be back next year!
