My wife and I went for a birthday lunch. From the greeting at the door to our departure the welcome and attention was first class and full of good nature. It was November, so eating outside was not possible (though it must be great) but the large wood-beamed dining room is perfect. The food was fine, interesting and tasty. We did not emerge bloated, but thoroughly satisfied with a gastronomic experience that did not break the bank. We drank only by the glass; the house white being very acceptable, the red less so.
