This is the tearoom side of the Olde Glen 'complex'.
Quaint, friendly and relatively inexpensive in the village of Glen. (More of a hamlet, really).
Well worth catching a quick bite or even lunch.

NB. MAKE A RESERVATION - EXTREMELY BUSY SPOT!
From the outside, doesn't give much away! A one room pub leads into a charming dining area with lovely art work on the walls. Table for three by the window which was very welcome, given the recent heatwave! Starters of salmon, chicken liver pate and garlic bread went down well. Mains of Steak (med-well), hake and risotto very enjoyable. One criticism - steak was served with four button mushrooms ONLY - no onion! All sides were extra. Desserts of creme brulee and warm homemade bakewell tart were delicious! All in all - a very enjoyable dining experience and the staff were excellent. Well deserving of it's recommendations!

Good, but not very good. A tea room “in the middle of nowhere”. The pub next door is more old Ireland than this bright modern tea room. Full breakfast and bakery offerings.

The Olde Glen Bar and Restaurant has a well deserved reputation for good food. The restaurant behind the pub uses only the freshest ingredients and creates some not to be forgotten dishes.

The pub is a hang out for locals who are very friendly and open to visits. Had the experience of watching the Mexico-Germany game drinking Coronas with the locals. Viva Mexico!

In the middle of nowhere, the quaintest little pub & restaurant you’re likely to find! Served up the finest fillet steak (medium rare) I’ve ever tasted! Mention too for the Chocolate fudge cake!
