Description: The Oxford Arms is an award-winning dining pub in Oxfordshire run by Chef Patron Bryn Jones since 2003. We are situated 10 mins from Bicester Shopping Village, 10 miles from Blenheim Palace and 20 miles from Oxford city center. We serve good, honest food with a minimum of fuss. The menu changes seasonably with daily specials to use even more local produce. 85% of the ingredients we use are local produce, a further 12% are from rest of the UK and 3% are from other European countries (some of the ingredients are from our organic Kitchen Garden and Kirtlington village itself). Our real log fire will keep you warm in winter and our beautiful garden patio will keep you cool during hot summer days. You will be looked after from the moment you arrive to the moment you leave. Children over 12 y.o. only please.

Ate here yesterday (20/08/17) and both had the roast beef Sunday Lunch. Absolutely delicious! We both ate in near silence - a first for us! Melt in the mouth beef, perfect roast potatoes (crispy outer, fluffy inner), beautiful Yorkshires and delicious gravy. After an abomination of a Sunday Lunch recently in Poole and some mediocre ones elsewhere, we were hopeful of having our faith restored that someone, somewhere CAN cook a good one - we weren't disappointed! I had the almond and apricot tart for pudding and my husband had bread and butter pudding. We didn't want to leave. Lovely, friendly hostess made the whole experience a very positive one. We WILL be back!

Stopped here for a mid-week lunch after a walk with the dogs at the nearby quarry site and canal. The welcome was warm and we sat outside in the very pleasant patio area. Service was good throughout. We had pumpkin tortellini with sage butter which was really good although the portion size could have been a little bigger for a main meal, followed by cherry and almond tart which was generous and absolutely delicious. Highly recommended.

Just had a lovely Saturday lunch, from when you walk in the door, to when you leave the service and food are so good, my friend and I both had calves liver bacon black pudding and roast potatoes. It was really good. We couldn't manage sweet, the menu is small, but you know that everything is cooked fresh, and you couldn't ask for anything more. Look forward to going back soon.

Perfectly cooked meat and a lovely Sunday roast. As well as this the deserts were fab and especially the truffles. Would recommend to anyone. Perfect service and friendly atmosphere to top it off. 10/10!

We opted for 'posh' pate & hot smoked salmon tart followed by Cajun lamb burger and a superb Steak. Both came with the best chips ever!
illi coffee to finish
Quality from beginning to end
No hesitation at all in recommending this pub / eatery

Ps they allow dogs on lead within the fab rear patio garden and Kilington quarry reserve less than a mile away is a great place for pooch
