We must have been here every year now for a couple of decades, and the high standard of this family-run place is unchanged. I had a Jumbo Haddock, a glass of house white and a cucumber: heaven on a plate.

Always visit when we are here which is every eight weeks. Food always fresh and delicious, staff warm, welcoming and very helpful.

We were so eager to try this place whilst on holiday after reading the great reviews. What a disappointment. Chips soggy and tasteless, fish ok but just the general feel of the place is that it could do with some oomph. Been to far better fish and chip restaurants than this. The minted mushy peas had no mint and were a gloopy watery unseasoned disaster. Need to up the game a bit we think. Take away was busy though!

Something Cooking gets huge reviews... Yet... Its OK, but no more in my opinion. The fish and chips are fine but they come at a premium price; stopped off after walking the dog in Fishguard and spent a bit more than expected.

A slightly chaotic but enjoyable meal. The dressed crab was served a little too chilled which spoiled the flavour slightly but the haddock was fresh and delicious and we really enjoyed the crab cakes.
