We popped in here on Tuesday night, luckily for us, it was very quiet and we got a table no problem. We were well looked after by Cara who was extremely helpful, friendly and professional! The food was presented really well and tasted delicious. 2 stand out dishes were the steak pie (nothing like a "normal" steak pie) and the Scottish tablet cheesecake, super light & yummy!! Kincardine is a bit off the beaten track but its definitely worth a short detour if you are in the area, so worth it for a fabulous meal. We will make a point of booking next time in case its fully booked. Well done to the chef that night as well.

An unplanned lunch stop here, 3 friends and dog .
What a great place. Very relaxed and homely ambience.

We were met and warmly welcomed by Hannah, who throughout our visit could not have been more helpful and friendly.

We were looking for a lightish lunch, so decided on starters and a shared cheeseboard.

We had 1 mixed pakora - 2 pieces chicken and 2 pieces haggis with salad and dressing, 1 bruschetta and 1 portion of scallops with a smoked cauliflower purée and raisin and caper dressing. All good portion sizes and very delicious.

The cheeseboard came with a selection of oatcakes and crackers (more of which were supplied on request), 3 cheeses, red onion chutney and frozen grapes. The cheeses were a cheddar, a Scottish Brie and a blue Stilton. None of us had eaten frozen grapes before but we will now!

Harvey the dog was very grateful for being provided with his own bowl of water .

We're so glad we found this gem and we'll certainly return.

Compliments to all staff and owners.

Popped in at late notice this Sunday having been for two meals at this brilliant restaurant before.
The staff were great and offered a half portion of their lasagne as I didn’t want a full meal.
Was sure that the meal would be excellent as I’d had the hake before and it was superb.
No surprise the haggis pakora starter and my lasagne were excellent. The St Mungos beer was a great accompaniment.
Drop in and see Hannah , Mikey and Cara it’s well worth a visit and you won’t be disappointed.
