3 reviews We spent a very enjoyable 2 weeks at La Desirade. The house is beautiful and very well kitted out. And there is so much to see and do in the area. We all want to return as soon as we can

Ideal location for a relaxed holiday in a beautiful part of France. The property had everything you could wish for to make a great holiday experience.
Owners live on site and were very welcoming and helpful when needed but remained discrete.
There is a small supermarket within easy walking distance with a much larger Geant outlet 10 minutes away by car.
We were really sorry to leave and would love to return in the future

Lovely modern house with everything you might need for an extended stay. One bedroom has an ensuite bathroom, the other double bedroom is right beside the second toilet and the shower room with double sinks is just down the hall, beside the 3rd bedroom. We were just two couples, so that arrangement worked well for us. The hosts had everything we need to start our stay, some coffee, tea, cooking oil. For people from North American, there is a barbecue but it uses charcoal, which was provided. Wi-fi was great, TV did have English news channels.
This house is not in Aix-en-Provence, it is in a new subdivision out of town. You need a car, you can walk to a small market but unless you have a lot of time you won't want to walk to the small village that is relatively close by. Also we didn't find any restaurants within walking distance.
The house does have a lovely pool, it was too cool for us to use when we were there though. It was a very good spot for touring the surrounding area. I would recommend it for anyone likes being a bit out of town and has a car. Nice and quiet.

The house was very modern and clean. It had everything 1 adult and 4 teenagers/ young adults needed. The hosts were nearby and discrete but quick to help if needed. There was the added bonus of table tennis and 3 bikes. The pool was not large but beautifully kept. The only thing we could find fault with was only having 1 toilet, but it was a minor problem.
All in all a lovely place to stay.
