If you want peace and quiet this place is for you, its quite remote about 10 mins drive from Grand Tarajal which is a lovely spanish town with a handful of shops and resteraunts. Situated in the middle of the island this place is perfect for exploring the island and its attractions. If you approach at night you will need help with directions. A light at the end of the driveway would have been helpful on the evenings we came back late from our day trips.
Our hosts Jose and family were very helpful and popped over a few times to check if we were okay, change linen and empty rubbish, clean pool etc but not imposing. It was good to know they were not far away if needed.
The villa itself is as photographed and clean in good condition with cold drinks in the fridge on our arrival. You will find most provisions so check before you buy. Basics such as washing up liquid and cloths along with dishwasher tablets were already there. Also check the outside area there is equipment for the barbaque inflateables for the pool and table tennis bats and balls in storage areas.Linen changed once a week and plenty of towels, there were even some beach towels.
Indoors the tv has quite a few british channels and we even got childrens programs for the 3 year old travelling with us.The kitchen has plenty of pots and pans and we did eat in quite a few times and didnt find myself serching for anything.Dishwasher and washing machines both very easy to use but you will have to take your own soap powder. There is a washing line around the back of the villa and iron and ironing board also available in laundry room but no clothes dryer. Not really a problem as there is always plenty of wind to dry washing but if you need something in a hurry it could be .
The bathrooms all have there own hairdryers and plenty of toilet paper provided and there was plenty of hot water. The showers are powerful and we used the one in the annnex sometimes as it runs from a seperate boiler. It was useful to access the annex even though nobody slept in there as we were also able to use the bathroom when we were outside enjoying the pool or using the outdoor kitchen.
We had the master bedroom which is lovely with a walk in wardrobe and a full bathroom , which was great as we were travelling as a family although you may have to draw straws if you are a group. There are fans but no air con which was a shame as some evenings were very hot, however we are used to travelling later in the year.
At the end of our stay lucia brought us some local cheese and wine to take home. If we could only take the lovely sun porch home to eat and drink it on.
