Brilliant spot high on the hill overlooking the Tamar. Location central for our wine visits.
Old School B&B with great hosts, Helen and Mike. Really comfy room, sort of like a big studio, with a sitting room/telly and then the bed half. Massive king bed, with perfect view of the telly. We were in the main house, and had the place to ourselves, at least the little kitchen area and huge bathroom. As it was a pretty cold July night, the heating did exactly what it said on the tin.
Breakfast in the dining room was just what the doctor ordered. Plenty of cereals, fruit, yoghurt. Home made jam for your toast and a pretty decent fry. A separate sitting room with plenty of books too. Make sure you take all your cheese and wine up the hill as there are no shops of that type in the village. The deck area overlooks the Tamar valley and would be a great spot on a summers evening.
Having thought about it, this is a 5. I was going for 4.5, but nah, 5. Great spot. Cheers. More
