2 bedroom Chalet, very underwhelming, furniture was falling apart, interior and exterior walls had holes, towels so thin that I'm sure my serviette at dinner was thicker! Overall the resort has been very poorly maintained, extra activities including mini gold and go karts are falling apart and these sere things you pay extra for. Have stayed here many times in the last two decades but won't ever stay again, particularly given what we paid to stay. So disappointed

Hubby and i stayed in a Spa cabin for 2 nights on our travels around Tassie. Although a little dated and run-down we had a pleasant stay. The view over the golf course was lovely although the local duck families could be a little quieter at 2am!! Our stay included breakfast which was a cooked breakfast in the restaurant, not bad at all even though fairly quiet we had a selection of all cereals, juices, pastries, bacon scrambled eggs, mushrooms tomatoes etc, even a pancake machine! A pleasant stay although a little over priced for the dated room we had.

Stayed in a villa cabin (number 526) during the Tamar Valley Writers Festival. Good points are that there was a separate bedroom with double bed, as well as a double bed in the 'main room', which also had a sink, microwave, electric kettle and toaster. Bathroom access off main room. Points for improvement... there is no mirror in the bedroom and no where to put your personal items in the bathroom. Had to bring the small outdoor table into the main room as there was no where to put your cups/plates/food.. and no chairs... just a 2-seater couch... would have been better to replace the couch with a table and chairs! The pancake machine at breakfast was a good addition.... but the same food is served every breakfast.. if you stayed more than 2 days you may find this boring...

We were initially disappointed in the " studio chalet room" on arrival . It was dark and dingy. We were met with lovely helpful service at reception to upgrade to a lakeside cabin which was a beautiful spot with ducks etc.
The food was great especially the ribs and reasonably priced and the buffet breakfasts were great albeit a bit slow to keep the bacon topped up. The wait staff were very attentive and helpful
This was one of our favourite stays in our 2 week trip . Thank you from James and Annie

While this place was created some years ago as a very unique facility it still stands the test of time in more respects, maybe a little tired but makes up with this with plenty of space for everyone. Staff were friendly and eager to help, although as things were very quiet that was not tested by the need to look after hordes of demanding people! Food was good and convention staff were extremely keen to do all they could for our group
