We spent three nights at the cabin with our son and daughter-in-law and our three-year old granddaughter. We've vacationed in other cabins over the past thirty years and expected to find the usual very rustic, sparse accommodations we were used to experiencing. But not so here! This is more like an upscale hotel suite. The kitchen is better stocked than my own, the entertainment system and huge selection of DVDs is also more up to date than our system at home, and the bathrooms had every amenity a person could need. The welcome basket was a nice touch, with practical items like deodorant and fun items like activity books. It is also very child-friendly with games and puzzles for all ages. We will definitely come again!
1 review This was one of the highlights of our family trip to the east coast of USA. A home away from home with more!! Firstly, snow for the first time for our Aussie kids! Secondly, and more importantly, a beautiful, well set up haven and rest for an otherwise busy trip. So much so, that we stayed an extra night. Even enjoyed the spa in the snow! Loved it...want to come back again sometime!!

We loved this house in Big Bear - lots of space and an excellent location. The house is full of bears (and a Christmas tree) and has plenty of supplies, games and DVDs. There was lots of things to do in the area - we went down the alpine slide at Magic Mountain, go-karting at the same place, visited Big Bear zoo, hired bikes at snow summit - took the chairlift up and cycled down the mountain, and hired a pontoon boat on the lake - all in one day!

Very nice and personable cabin with views of the lake. Well stocked amenities.
Enjoyed relaxing on the front deck, sipping and gazing at the wonderful lake view.
Very close to walk into the village area, but with all the current DVDs available to enjoy, much entertainment to hang and not leave. Great kitchen - loaded with everything you need to make a quick meal or an easy snack. Everything was very clean and well kept. We'll be back!!!
