Met up with my friends here, last Saturday night, great atmosphere and friendly staff, service is great the pub is nicely decorated and they have a lovely beer garden if you prefer to sit outside, also they have a very good menu to choose a meal from,it's always a great atmosphere and a great night out, it's definitely the best pub in Walkden!!

Popped in whilst doing a shop so was in my own. As it was gorgeous out thought I would eat outside as the beer garden is lovely. Ordered a chicken ceasar salad and a beer. Really awkward to order food when on your own as I got a table number outside but when I went the till to order someone had taken my table. Got the table back eventually. Food arrived fairly quickly, chicken was a bit dry but it was a nice salad. Had to nip the toilet half way through the meal and toilets are upstairs. Upon my return my food had been taken. No way of letting anyone know I hadn't fivished but it was half a plate of salad and half a garlic bread. They did leave my pint though. Just a difficult place to eat solo I guess, will probably not nip in on my own again
