We had a family room and as always it was clean, comfortable and given it was May half term, very affordable. We were staying the night before a wedding elsewhere but will return to visit Cheddar and the surrounding area and have already recommended this PI to others. It’s not a ‘box on the side of the road’, it’s set back from the road with a lovely well kept lawn and old stone building. The view was also pretty!
This is one of the better premium inns. When we came into the hotel we were greeted with helpful staff. When we came up to our room everything was very nicely spaced out and the view out the window was better than any other premium inn I’ve stayed at. Great hotel, definitely recommend.
Stayed here late one night on a Wednesday. Not quite sure how this is a Bristol Premier Inn since it’s about 5-6 miles off from it. When coming up to the hotel it doesn’t look to appealing with some big stains down the walls however when you get closer it looks a lot nicer.
The neighbouring Brewers Fayre is in a really nice castle-type tower. The reception is quite small but really nice and is not like other premier inns. The room itself is also really nice, the beds well spaced out and the bathroom is great. In the evening it’s also really easy just to sit out and have a drink at the Brewers Fayre by some outside tables.
In summary this is a very nice Premier Inn and is probably one of the best, if not the best Premier Inn I’ve stayed at! Well recommended to anyone for a quick nights sleep!
Stayed for 1 night with wife before a holiday early next morning. Checked in by a friendly lady who also gave me information about parking at the airport. Sat outside on a lovely terrace to eat. We were served by another friendly lady and man . I was very surprised at the value for money of the meal and drinks. Room was very comfortable and not at all hot. This has been a problem in the past at other hotels. Checked out very early 2.15 . The man at the desk was also cheery. We stay in premier inns regularly and this was one of the best. Highly recommend. Thanks
Lovely bed and room as usual, staff friendly as ever , had to move room as WiFi was shocking and couldn’t get a signal , only disappointment was the food by brewers fair which is part of the hotel but totally not there fault , all in all usual service
We were booked to fly from Bristol and our usual hotel cancelled our booking, so we booked this Premier Inn, due to its location to the airport. We had stayed many years ago. The reception greeting was excellent. I wished we had known in advance that there was no lift as my husband had recently had a hip replacement op and stairs with luggage was difficult. Needless to say the few ground floor rooms were all booked. The Room was lovely and quiet and I really enjoyed using the additional make up mirror in the main room leaving the bathroom free. BUT as comfortable as the bed was, every time you turned over the base off the bed creaked! The staff in the restaurant were excellent.
