We stayed at the Hotel Vitznauhof and ate at Sens for dinner. We normally do not like hotel restaurants, but Sens isn’t attached to the hotel. It’s a close walk, but still separate with amazing views of Lake Lucerne. The interior is small, but not cramped. We were the only foreigners in the restaurant, but all staff spoke excellent English. The food was excellent and fresh. A little expensive (we’ve eaten at Michelin Guide restaurants in Paris for 1/3 the price), but Switzerland as a whole is very expensive. The service was wonderful. If TripAdvisor allowed 1/2 star ratings, I’d give Sens a 4.5, but I cannot so I rounded up to a 5!
