We spent several nights at Hotel Conrad and thoroughly enjoyed the excellent hospitality. Before the alpine hikes each morning, we were able to enjoy a leisurely and delicious breakfast that was always served with a smile and helpful tips on where to hike/dine. After hiking 10+ miles each day, we often returned to the hotel near the end of the dinner service, but the owners and their staff invariably accommodated us with a smile. The room had a gorgeous view of the moutains and it was a pleasure to prepare light snacks in the clean and efficien kitchenette. There is a delightful convenience store around the block that is well-stocked with fresh fruits and provisions. Watching sunset from the balcony was relaxing and lovely. Thank you for providing such a clean and lovely home away from home for us to enjoy a wonderful Swiss adventure.

Any visitor to Scuol would benefit from a stay at this charming hostelry. It is a family owned and run hotel with friendly and helpful staff. We were housed in a suite in the Annex across the road where we found that we had a panoramic view of the mountians and the old village. The suite was spacious and well-equipped. It had a proper kitchen and a large lounge area and a comfortable bed in a large bedroom with lots of cupboard space. We could have lived there permanently and not have suffered any inconvenience or discomfort. What with the excellent Engadin cuisine, the free bus service, the fortuitous snowfall and the crisp mountain winter air on the ski-slopes, it was fantastic to be able to retire in such comfort at the end of the day.

Room Tip: Upstairs rooms have the best views, obviously.

The hotel is located in the old picturesque and quiet part of the town with a beautiful mountain view. It is a family run hotel with a very friendly and helpful staff. Special thanks to Duri who as the owner did his best to make us feel at home ane very welcome. Matilde who served us breakfast was very warm and welcoming giving us many helpful tips.

We stayed 2 nights at Hotel Conrad. From our warm greeting by Manuela to our departure, we were treated with utmost care. Our laundry was done overnight at no charge and arrived in the morning carefully folded. We chose half board and enjoyed good meals, especially the venison with herbed spaetzle. Breakfasts are fine and the coffee is served with hot milk. Our room was spacious, had down comforters and pillows and a beautiful view of the mountains and church. Our bathroom was newly renovated. We felt so well cared for in every way. A trip to the Spa is very worthwhile. Considering that hotel guests in Scuol get free transportation, including all gondolas, the price is a bargain. It was obvious that our fellow guests were very happy as well. We would have liked to stay longer in this interesting and lovely region!

The hotel is located in the downtown. If you haven't requested for pickup like us, the location may create a bit problem. There is only one bus route that is very close to the hotel. To save time, it is easier to take other buses, which will stop only on the main street and you need to take your luggage and walk for ~10 minutes downhill (less if you know the way). Not considering the time required to walk between hotel and bus stop, the location is actually quite ok, as it is away from main street and the scenery is quite good.
Hotel room is newly renovated and modern. The view of our room is quite good. Someone may complain about the church, which is very close and the church bell can be quite annoying if you don't like it.
The owner's family and the staff are nice and helpful. They offered to drive us to the train station when we left hotel in the midday.
The breakfast is comparatively simple. But the service is great. Half-boiled eggs prepared per request is a must-try. Dinner is disappointed though (otherwise, it should be a 5-star comment).

Room Tip: One facing church is recommended
