We stayed for a short 2 nights, stays. The hotel is well located, they have their own carpark and a bus stop in front of the entrance as well. The room ( sport double) was simple but large, clean and modern, in general the whole hotel gives a modern , well kept feeling. they have a small fitness and a whirlpool , only negative point would be that the wellness opens late ( 15 pm) so you cannot used it before departure for example. The breakfast was a very nice buffet with a lot of fresh and local products.
Staff was alway very friendly. We found the relation between price and what we got to be very good.

Stayed at the SportHotel with a friend for five nights while hiking in the Pontresina and St. Moritz area. It turned out to be an inspired choice. I loved classic grandeur of the hotel, fully updated to modern standards with a combination of nostalgic and whimsical motifs. Rooms were large and comfortable. Excellent breakfasts. Innovative dinners beautifully prepared. While I was there several nights had food themes from around the world. Half pension is an excellent value with always a choice of meat, fish, or vegetarian main courses. Next time in Pontresina you'll find me at the Sporthotel!

A great hotel with friendly staff. Rooms are fairly big and clean. Nice location with convenient access to public transport.
Complimentary Breakfast is good. Hotel also provides complimentary public transport pass.

Honestly, we canceled our reservation in South Tirol, Corvara, because of the Italian government restrictions. Thinking in a new place... Zermatt, Crans Montana, even Spain, (Baqueira Beret) etc... We had been many years without visit Engadina so we decided to visit again this marvelous valley... Well, very simple, we fall in love with Pontresina, its atmosphere, and this wonderful Hotel. Excellent service, great people, extremally well managed, all the little details are well taken care. The menu was excellent, as well as breakfast, the team couldn´t be nicer, even many speak Spanish. Anyway, We highly recommend the Sporthotel Pontresina, Numero Uno! By the way, one night order a Tiramisù. We will come back.

We were there the week before Christmas. Check in went smoothly and friendly. We struggled a bit to find the Garage but was the only minor thing. Getting into the room we found a large generous room and large bathroom. What I really loved was the ample wooden hangers in the wardrobe. Classy!!! And not the kind you find nowadays in business hotels. Two size of bathrobes. A towel warmer makes it more cozy. Spacious vanity for two. We also liked how well organized, secure and clean during corona everything was. Made us comfortable being in a risk group. Food was always generous and enough. Starters are creative for all courses were delicious. Needless to say staff was perfect. Too bad we could only stay for 4 nights. When you go enjoy. We will be back.
