Not 3 Star in my opinion. The reception staff were great, and that's as far as it goes.
No tea or coffee making facilities in the room. The paint on the ceiling in the room was peeling. The furniture in the bathroom was not clean and was damaged. There was mould in the bathroom and no extractor fan. The doors had been repaired with metal plates which were coming off and had not been painted since they were fitted. The wardrobe hadn't enough shelves for two people for a week. There was no room phone, although the emergency information says, in case of fire, contact staff by the room phone. There's no one on reception after 20:00, so this is a real safety issue.
Breakfast was very dull for a week - Tinned fruit cocktail, the same single cold meat and cheese every day for a week. The breakfast area has bench seats and tables of 4, if everyone arrived at the same time there was not enough room and if more than 4 rooms arrived you have to share a table. Several days the water for tea was only lukewarm and we had ask for more if we wanted more than one cup of coffee.
The bar is only available while staff are on duty i.e. up to 20:00hrs.
On checkout I was charged an extra 3.7%, above the quoted price which could not be explained. I used a debit card and have never been charged a surcharge before. I used that card in many places in this resort and nowhere else was there a surcharge.
I e-mailed, but didn't even get an acknowledgement.
