We spent a few days at this truly wonderful place slightly above Crans-Montana surrounded by the woods and a few chalets. The very small hotel which had originally opened in 2009 is the most amazing boutique Alpine resort we have ever been to. It only has like 14 rooms and a Michelin star restaurant and a small yet beautiful SPA. Service and staff were extremely professional and friendly. The room was as nice as could be expected, but the bathrooms would probably be planned with better light and more space if done today. Although an ambitious Bose sound system was installed in the room, the sound for the TV doesn't really work without a center speaker. Luckily, watching TV is not important to us when on holiday. I think I read an article recently that hotel ownership changed hands and the new owners have plans to extend the resort by building more rooms and double the capacity. I think such a step would have a negative impact on this amazing hideaway resort.
