We booked this hotel for a long weekend break. It was fabulous. We were greeted by the owner who was very friendly and helpful - giving us tips of what to visit in the area which was great as it was out of season and not all lifts for walking paths were open.
Nothing was too much trouble for the owner and the lovely Portuguese staff member working at the bar next door and at breakfast - one morning we were still in the restaurant after hours and asked if we were too late for coffee, we got the response "never too late for coffee" - fabulous.
The hotel is located on the lake with spectacular views and an easy 5-10 walk to Crans on the one side and the same time to reach Montana in the other direction.
We had a room on the first floor with a beautiful mountain view. The room was done out in a traditional way but with a modern twist.
I have given the hotel a 4 rating as we have stayed at some fabulous 5 star hotels around the world. If I were comparing like with like, this one would have definitely got a 5.More
