The hotel manager and his staff gave us super service. Very flexible and friendly. Price was reasonable for the area. Various kinds of freshly baked bread for breakfast was nice. Discounts for the ski-pass. Close to everything and free parking. Recommended.

I only stayed for one night but I've been to a few hotels in Crans Montana and this must be one of the best in this price bracket. The staff were helpful and spoke English.

The rooms were well appointed with balconies and good views over the mountains. Other hotel rooms may be bigger but not as charming.

Dinner in the hotel is a good option as the other eateries in this locale are quite expensive.

Other facilities include a sauna and a Turkish bath. There is a children's play area outside (although this was under about a meter of snow) and table football. There is no lift but they do have ground floor rooms.

The hotel is 5-10min walk from the ski lifts around the lake. It is located midway between Crans and Montana.

Very well located place and has awesome view of the lake. The owner and the staff are very helpful and friendly. The rooms were clean and good. I liked the breakfast they serve. Enjoyed the stay a lot though just stayed there for a night but was an awesome experience.

We spent a lovely week end at Hotel du Lac. First we were upgraded to an apartment which was great, then we found that the location was ideal between Crans and Montana. We could walk everywhere. The weather was quite bad at times but the owners gave us a lot of tips on what to visit or see in the area.
This is a 3 stars so don't expect a lot of "nice to have" but everything is clean and working, and last but not least the prices are reasonable for the area. No doubt that we will go back soon

All in all a great stay, nice to come back after a day on the slopes to an afternoon tea of cakes :-)

My room at the top of the building (35) was very cold at night, I woke up several times, not sure if it needed more insulation. Told the manager and he checked it out. The next night was still freezing in the early hours so I asked for more blankets and was given two extra duvets, which was great and snuggly.

The room was cleaned everyday and fresh towels provided if you left them on the shower floor.

The hotel had a nice homely feel to it, friendly atmosphere and the views? Beautiful.

The waitresses were great and helped with everything they could when food was being served or drinks.

Thanks for the great stay Hotel du Lac and hope to see you again soon

Au revoir!
