To find a mountain railway just a few meters away from our bedroom. Fortunately the windows were heavily double glazed and you could hardly hear the trains when they passed! Our host made us feel welcome and was very friendly. Our room was comfortable and clean. The kitchen was also spacious and clean and there was a nice choice of breakfast food served from 8h00. Putting aside the bloc house and the railway line, the view over the valley and snow capped mountains was very pleasant. Congratulations to Belinda for the information she gave us and for her kindness.

Very service minded owner with great hospitality and kindness even offering us assistance with our luggage to and from the train station. She made a dinner reservation for us at the Schweizerhof upon our arrival.
The place is modern and clean and the owner has put a lot of energy into the details. The rooms are a bit small but modern and equipped with comfortable beds.
The breakfast was good and the owner socialized a lot with the guests when serving breakfast. We would definitely return when in the area.

Excellent spot in Andermatt. Clean, comfortable, warm cosy accommodation. Lovely little kitchen area. Showers/bathroom clean. Cosy comfy bed. Lovely Hostess who couldn't do enough to please. Drying room and areas for any extra luggage if required.

Set on a hill outside Andermatt next to the cog railway with lovely views, this BnB offers modern small but well planned en suite bedrooms and a shared breakfast area. Rooms would probably feel cramped for longer visits.

Rooms are attractive and spotlessly clean. There are blackout blinds on the windows as well as curtains. Fast free wifi.

Drying room not unexpectedly in a skiing area.

It is about 7 minutes walk into town and more back up the steep hill!

Plenty of eating options in town.

Very friendly and helpful hostess with excellent hostess.

Apparently, she has many overnight guests given Andermatt's crossroads location. We did not find it hard to,locate with our dat ab. It is at the start of the Overalpe Pass, drive up past a little chapel on the right, cross the railway, then look immediately for the sign on the left.

Rather than walking and eating our way through a plethora of quaint villages, Andermatt gave us the opportunity to enjoy nature. We took a short train ride and walked 3 hours back to the hotel, taking in breathtaking views. A short drive took us to a wonderful hike over Devil's Bridge. A little further up I noticed a hidden old stone bridge so we stopped and did another hike with even more beautiful views.
This B&B is in the perfect location. Being May, we didn't expect too much snow but the weather was cool and we saw the snow capped mountains from the window of our room. The owners did everything to make sure our stay was comfortable and were as busy as we wanted. The room was very clean and modern.
Breakfast was fresh, including home-made bread, cheese, yogurt and, of course, delicious coffee.
I would definitely recommend this place and would come again.
