Room was small, hot & noisy. on a pedestrianised part of the town near the railway station, so train noise. Although there was a fan in the room, this wasn't all that good but had to leave window open for ventilation. breakfast ok. convenient for dance venue and trains so would reluctantly stay again

Room Tip: Room at the back are supposed to be cooler

This hotel is in a pedestrian area and was booked as we were attending a dance competition nearby......the hotel was near to the venue... it was clean and the price was fab.....breakfast was brill and started from 6.30. BUT it was so noisy from outside.....sleep was impossible unless you were profoundly deaf.....shutting the windows was not an option as it was so hot and there was no air conditioning.
There are loads of places to eat nearby and the train station is a 5min walk with regular trains to Cologne every 10 mins. Really cheap to travel on the trains. A day travel with up to 5 people was 16 euros!

Room Tip: Take ear plugs

A good basic hotel for commuting into Cologne.

Nice team and ok rooms. Clean but a little dated. Good location very close to the station!

Breakfast is ok - just about better than average.

Good value for money!

Used hotel as an overnight stop on a coach tour. Rooms basic but clean. Room was at front of hotel and noise was appalling and carried on for most of night. Breakfast for our group was appalling. Served in what looked like a utility room. Formica tables, drinks including milk still in original cartons, need I go on?

Room Tip: Avoid rooms at the front of the hotel

Just 2 nights on way to and from Middlesbrough to Vienna by coach.
B&B only. They struggled to give good service to a large group at breakfast, but the staff were very nice and obliging.
Situated near centre of a pleasant small town, apparently twinned with Redcar.

Room Tip: Room 203. View on to street. One of beds in middle of small room.
