We booked an online rate and stayed for 4 nights. Lenzkirsch was a great base for activities in the Black Forest (particularly close to Titisee Lake, 5-10 mins drive). Karen was an warm, friendly host who spoke some functional English (better than our dreadful German!) and attended to our every request. We had a double room with a balcony. Very clean, spacious room, new renovated bathroom. The breakfast was great - along with breads/jam/continental Karen also cooked us eggs each morning. The decor is quaint/traditional, and the surrounds are beautiful - you can sit out in the garden or on the deck. Drinks and snacks were available in the evenings (I recommend the Rose liquor!), though there were several good value local restaurants within 10 mins drive in neighbouring towns. Parking was available on-site for free. Our only issue was no WIFI/internet - but the tourist information centre at Titisee had free WIFI so we accessed it there. Otherwise, exceptional stay for such a price!

My wife and I spent a few days in this wonderful B&B during our summer vacation in the black forest area.

The hospitality was great, and we especially enjoyed the made-to-order, luxurious breakfasts.

The room was comfortable and spacious, with nice beds and even a nice balcony to enjoy the amazing view and fresh air.

We went to the Black Forest area for the first time and could not have had a better place to sty for 5 days. Lovely accommodation and wonderfully friendly hosts. Karen and her son and family are wonderful.

My husband and I stayed at Pension Daheim for one night. The owners greeted us very warmly and offered complimentary drinks which we enjoyed in a lovely terrace overlooking the black forest. Our room was extremely spacious and perfectly clean. The bathroom was spotless as well. The only problem was that it didn't have soap (not even to wash our hands) and when we asked for some they said that it wasn't provided by the hotel and that the information was posted on their website. We found this a little bit rude, especially since we got there at night and there was no way of buying anything in Lenzkirch or in any of the surrounding villages! Apart from that everything was lovely. Breakfast was very good, with different breads, cheese, ham, cereals and different jams.

My wife and I stayed for 5 nights and thoroughly enjoyed everything about the stay. We were given a very warm welcome on arrival and offered cool drinks which were much appreciated. The room we were given was excellent, large with a lovely sunny balcony with table and chairs. The en suite bathroom was spotlessly clean although no toiletries were provided it was well equipped including a hair dryer. Breakfast was plentiful. The staff were extremely helpful and we were given a guest card which entitled us to free public transport and reduced admission at several tourist sites and the local open air swimming pool which was only 5 minutes walk away. The house is situated on the edge of the village with only a 10 minute walk into the centre where there was a choice of 4 or 5 restaurants. We wouldn't hesitate in returning to this delightful house in a delightful part of Germany. Highly recommended.
