We absolutely loved our stay at the Belveder! A true five-star hotel, the rooms, decor, staff, breakfast and facilities are all out of this world. The swimming pool and sauna area are huge with several different types of spa facility and we would have happily stayed in there for hours. We unfortunately didn't get to spend any time by the sea but the hotel has it's own private beach that looked beautiful. The breakfast was probably one of the best we've had. An expensive hotel but utterly worth it.

We only had one tiny complaint and that was that the hotel wouldn't provide us with an iron in the room. Instead they said we had to pay housekeeping to do it for us which was expensive and a bit annoying when we were already spending a lot of money to be there.

Room tip: We just had a standard room and it was amazing.

Was there for the first time in mid-february. The style of the hotel, was looking like it was a modern 5-star hotel ..... if it were 20 years ago. The overall price level was way too high compared to the the quality and service provided. I needed a stable WiFi connection for work purposes - but it was simply not working - either in the room and in the lobby the WiFi was extremely slow. The receptionist explained that it was due to the placement of the Hotel behind a big hill (Very bad explanation). In my opinion a hotel of 2016 can not be claiming 5-stars if it has no reasonable WiFi on offer. But the prices was more than 5-stars :-(
The DiVa restaurant was on the other hand a very good experience :-) Perfect and professional service by an enthusiastic waiter and 7 course menu worthy of the Michelin star they have - Very very good :-) And the breakfast provided was also very good.
Also the OstseeTherme was an ok experience - but nothing spectacular.
In the ligt of price versus quality - i will most probably not return to this hotel.

Thank you for your writing. We are sad, that you only score our hotel by the wifi net. Normally you score the rooms, the destination, the service and so on... But we are happy that our restaurant DiVa pleased you.

We look forward to welcome you again some time.

Best regards

Went for the weekend. Was expensive for what you get. The only saving graces were the breakfast that was included and very good; and the use of the health centre / spa.
The staff were average, just about friendly but a little snotty and entitled themselves. Would not go back!

I stayed at belvedere during the last weekend of november 2014 with my 4 year Old daughter! We had a pretty long drive from norway. We had decided to go to the christmas market in lübeck!
The hotel is in timmendorfer Strand about 20 min drive from lübeck!

We arrived a bit early but our room was ready! The very polite girl at the front desk had an " in ausbildung" Sign on her jacket.. But she seemed very comfortable and secure about how to handle guests!!and she followed us up to our room! She wondered why we had come to timendorfer Strand and she seemed interested in giving us good service and a good stay!

The hotel had a parking Garage in the cellar with elevators!
The room was very spacious with a large bathroom large sitting area and a balcony!

The breakfast buffet was AMAZING! They had an omelet bar! The had everything You could want to eat i Guess! I have never been to a more complete buffet!
The breakfast room Even had some kind of self service tea-bar wich both me and my daughter liked a lot! I counted at least 15 types of Fresh tea that You could put in a small mug and bring with You to your table!
We had a very polite breakfast vaitor also!!

The entrance fee to the ostesee therme was inncluded in the room rate and we could put on swimming clothes and walk directly fra our room and to the swimmingpool!

The pool and spa area had a "textilfrei" zone wich we are not used to in scandinavia, but i didnt find it unpleasant to walk through this zone to Get to the large pool!
If You have issues with nudity/ seing other people walking around Without anything maybe You should try to Get in there by the Main entrance!
The pool area had several different pools! One large with several bubble areas.. Where You could also swim from inside to the outside! My doughter found it very funny to swim outside in the cold freezing weather and she did not want to swim back in!
There was also a "baby" area wich was pretty good and two very large water slides! I tried the green one!! It was funny!

Unfortenatly we did not eat at the hotels restaurant!

I hope to go back to belvedere! I WANT to go back!
I recomend everyone to stay there!
If You have kids with You they Will absolutely love the pool area

Our third stay at this Hotel. Great location, right at the beach and we loved the easy and free access to the Ostseetherme from our Hotel Room. Perfect for a Winter Getaway.
We stayed in an Ocean View Double room, which was very roomy and well appointed. The showers are the largest of any hotel we've stayed at.
There is a great walking trail to Scharbeutz, which takes about 15-20 min., with some nice restaurants/cafe's right at the beach and the walking trail to Timmendorfer Strand only takes about 10-15 min. and you are in the heart with restaurants/shops/cafes.
The Breakfast Buffet was great, with a huge selection of foods to choose from. The service is impeccable and the staff is eager to please and very friendly, trying to accommodate all wishes.
We had dinner at the Hotel Restaurant, and the same is to be said of staff, food & service. It was excellent.
Would recommend this hotel to anyone and will stay there again on our next visit to Germany.
