We got invited here by friends there were 8 of us. It was the middle of the afternoon so it was very quiet and we had a limited menu. Our choices were German specialties e.g. schnitzel and a whole range of Flammkuchen. I have never had it before but basically it is like a thin pizza. Instead of cheese it has a crème fraiche base and then you choose your topping. If you are looking for something light to share this is good. The salad was extra. The waiter kindly explained to me what the Flammkuchen was.
The place is a renovated tent factory and some of the old elements have been kept. It is a wonderful location on the river. There is outside seating for dining and a large beer garden.
The food was basic and good as was the service.
