Accidentally discovered as my usual hotel in this region was full due to an event in Basel, I had a room in this charming place for 3 days. As the hotel was also full, I had the chance to get an appartement for the price of a room. Arriving very late, I phoned the hotel and the key was left hidden. I found my appartement without any problem. Breakfast is fresh, pleasant, varied and well supplied. The appartement is clean and confortable, with 2 large terraces. The only drawback is the internet connection : wifi in this part of the hotel is unreachable and ethernet was down. Difficult to work but some forced rest is sometimes welcome. Thank you for the welcome and kindness.

This was the worst experience I had with a hotel so far. I was driving along in Germany and I made a stop to have something to eat and browse the internet to find a hotel where to sleep on my way. I found this hotel that seemed nice through a website and I booked it. At 21:40 I got my reservation confirmed so I started to make my way to the hotel that was 150 kms away from me. Once on the motorway I got a phone call from the website company that I used to let me know that the hotel owner wasn't willing to wait for me as their last chance for check in was at 19:00. I let the owner know that I was on my way and according to the gps I should be there at 23:15 but he was final with his decision not to wait for me. So I found myself on the motorway in the middle of the night without a place to sleep. They should not call themselves a hotel. Not even monasteries have such a strict curfew.

Nice hotel near the center of Badenwiler. Roms are nice, celan and spacious, only batheroom may be little small for pepople of bigger size :)
Frendly staff. Breakfast is nice and in lovely space.
Modest price compared to nearby hotels.
Personaly, I always choose Morgensonne during the visit to Badenwiler.
