Just had three days at Ridings. Lovely accommodation had everything in you could need. Spacious and airy with a brilliant view. The self catering accommodation we stayed in had a spacious bath and large separate shower. Iron and ironing board, which is always great for us because we are rubbish packers! Kitchen well appointed with microwave, oven and hob, washing machine, dishwasher and toaster. There is TV in the lounge and the bedroom, all the Hosts were excellent. Louise gave us some great advice about where to eat. Asked us if we were visiting Beamish said we were gave us some discount vouchers which were very worthwhile. Beamish is a great attraction to visit with plenty for everyone. Well situated for Newcastle 9 miles approx from the centre. Louise also does an excellent breakfast according to other guest tho we missed out as we were visiting family. Still a good excuse to go back.

We need some where that was reasonably close for the British Masters golf tournament and this fitted the bill. Angus meet us on arrival and guided us round, their was a fresh home made cake on the table and a jug of milk etc so we could have a cup before unpacking the car.
We felt very comfortable in the cottage and enjoyed the quietness, the cottage has every thing you need for a week away and is not too far from the motorway.
Will definitely go on our list of places to return to when next in the north.
