At here with my wife, fish was ok, chips terrible (go to a traditional Greek owned fish n chip shop & learn how to make chips). Salt & pepper calamari was quite good. All in all for 70 odd bucks (no alcohol) we found it not to be good value.

Whether it is regular fish and chips or barramundi, this is worth a trip! However, the oyster is very normal.

We ordered the seafood platter and 12 oysters between the 4 of us and we were not disappointed. Everything was delicious and well cooked. The prawns and scallops were yummy especially! Fresh seafood at a decent price, $72 for the platter which I think is pretty decent. Definitely enough for 3-4 people. Great atmosphere too, and it was a Thursday evening!

We visited Tommy Ruffs with 2 friends to celebrate my partner's birthday. We all love seafood and wanted a casual atmosphere with good food. Service was friendly and efficient. Our waitress was knowledgable about the menu. There are several good types of fish offered - salmon, blue grenadier, orange ruffy, calamari etc. Chips, salad and rice (brown and white) are offered. Lots of options for sharing plates, individual serves - and if you have special requests on how fish may be cooked, they say they will do it for you. Large wine menu at good prices. Smaller beer menu, but draft beers good. It was a Saturday early evening and the place became full very quickly. But tables turned over regularly. We rang to book ahead, but they will only take bookings for larger numbers than 4. Several different seating areas - high tables/stools and normal tables at the front and round the bar, and normal tables at the back, with an open air section at the very back. We enjoyed our meal there very much.

We enjoyed a long casual lunch midweek and the staff and owner at Tommy Ruff's looked after us very nicely.
Menu is extensive and covers most special dietary requirements and the food is seriously good and priced well.
The dining space is open and casual and out the back the space is brightened up with interesting light features and colourful wall paintings.
We thank Peter, Clinton and Sam for looking after us and look forward to trying the other 2 restaurants in this great family chain.
