We booked this hotel as it is at the quieter end of Porto San Giorgio. The hotel has good, clean and generous sized rooms (326 & 328) and has very courteous, friendly staff. Excellent choice of food for breakfast including masses of fresh fruit, pastries, cakes etc. The restaurant also serves dishes of a very high quality. The hotel is right on the beach, there is no road between the back of the hotel and the beach which makes it very safe if you have children. The sea is very shallow here for the first 25 metres - again ideal for children.
I often had the pool on the roof to myself which was great for relaxing.
Would definitely recommend this hotel for couples and families. Don't be put off by the proximity of the railway line - this runs the entire length of the Adriatic coast and I have to say that it did not bother us at all - the rooms have double glazing and in the ones facing the beach you could not hear the passing trains.More
