Visited Tignes on a 10 day Motorbike trip around France. This was the highlight of our stays in France, we stayed for two nights and were made to feel very welcome on arrival.
The hotel is very cosy, and clearly geared up for the Winter skiing activity, very clean, good spa and very helpful owner. Would definitely stay there again. Bar is a little on the expensive side with a bottle of corona costing 8 Euro but you do have plenty of choice outside the hotel. The restaurant was closed for the summer season, breakfast was served though. Hard parking was for the Motorbike (always important).

We stayed at Hotel Les Campanules for 9 nights over the Easter holidays – myself, my husband and our six year old daughter. We booked a mezzanine suite on the fourth floor which had beautiful views of the lake and mountains from its patio windows and balcony. The room itself was spacious, particularly the upstairs which housed a large king-size bed. Downstairs was a comfortable sofa, separate bathroom and toilet. There was plenty of storage space which made a nice chance in a ski resort. TVs were both upstairs and downstairs but there were only two English channels (not that we needed them!). The room was kept impeccably clean by housekeeping who came in twice a day and replenished towels and toiletries when needed, as well as turning down the beds and leaving sweets/chocolates and pillow mist. Toiletries were L’Occitaine which were lovely. The hotel itself has a really cosy feel with soft carpets and lots of alpine-style furnishing and ornaments. As it was Easter, little chocolates were available for guests to help themselves to at reception which was a nice touch. The staff were very efficient and polite, particularly Nathalie in the bar who was always very welcoming! We had booked a half board stay, and whilst the evening meals were excellent for my husband and I, our daughter found it very difficult to find something she would eat. The chefs tried to accommodate requests but they seemed to be limited to burger (without the bun) and fries or plain pasta. After a few days we changed to B&B only which worked better for us and our fussy eater! The breakfast buffet was excellent and we loved the Nespresso coffee! We used the spa area several times (outdoor pool, Jacuzzi, sauna and steam room) which was lovely – very clean and never over-crowded. Towels and robes were provided. Ski lockers were provided with heated boot racks, and the 100m walk to the ski area was down a few steps but wasn’t too difficult. Overall we loved everything about the hotel and hope to stay here again.

Room Tip: Mezzanine rooms are very spacious with great views.

We have just returned from a ten day family skiing stay at the Campanile and are strong admirers. When we arrived we realized we would need a larger room and the owners quickly changed us into a suite - it was the first example of a consistent style of customer focused solutions, taking the trouble to make us feel welcome and looked after without being intrusive. Another example would be when my wife hurt her back skiing and the hotel found an osteopath and showed warmth and care.

I mention this because the rare combination of high quality service, food facilities and, most importantly, the family style is a winner - all too often hotels offer you excellent facilities and cold service or the opposite, warmth combined with mediocre attention to detail. The Campanules stands out for me as an unexpectedly and very welcome and close to perfect blend of both: although small, the rooms, the food, the spa were all good quality and the attitude was just right - unobtrusively friendly.

We were staying at the Aiguille Percee where the food was very good, but on the staff day off we went to the Campanules. It was quite outstanding.

We were greeted in the lovely dining room by one of the owners as long lost friends and were treated royally. The dining room is very well appointed and the food looked and tasted tremendous.

We had a fixed price menu, which was not cheap but was really good value for money. The cheese board was fantactic

Room Tip: The higher the better

What a hotel. The staff and owner were very welcoming and friendly.
The food was simply amazing; Breakfasts for plentiful, every type of chilled fruit juice you could want and the best scrambled eggs I have ever experienced. The evening meals were just superb - high class cuisine. The staff and owner were very welcoming and friendly.
Spa was great to relax in after a hard day on the slopes. Pool, sauna, steam, Jacuzzi.. massages very reasonable.
If you hired skis etc from Le VALLON BLANC which was next door, they will let you store them there overnight, which avoids the slightly tricky downhill walk with skis to the slopes .. which are 100m away.
Travelled with my daughter and her friend and dad
