Food was OK, just average. Prices were OK, even a little bit high for the quality of the food.

Service was indifferent, with many lapses and delays.

No one here seemed happy to be working, and the food and service showed it.

Okay choice in a town with few clean restaurants.

We thoroughly enjoyed the food and the drinks and They let us bring the dog in (we went early (5pm?) and sitting next to door on Mex 1). However, the staff should study menu to learn English therein. No problemo if you spoke Espanol. Just sayin. We paid the 15 p to park on side of building and frankly they were more fun and pleasant than the staff in the restaurant. I would return, dog will be dead next time. Yes, I'm blaming all bad on old dog.

The restaurant suffers a bit in that we had a godd, decent meal, but it was not as good as other places we had eaten. So, the decor was a little dark but had some great early newspapers etc on the wall informing us about Pancho Villa and other early history and I did like the wooden senor and senorita at the door! We had a wide selection of dishes, including fish, chicken in sweet peppers and beef as well as the old favourites of guacamole, refried beans and salsa, all well cooked and delicious.

Over the years, we have eaten here a number of times as we pass through to or from La Paz. But we have always eaten breakfast or lunch. This is the first time we have had dinner. The place is clean and the staff are friendly. Dinner was in my estimation, average. If you go for the Filet Mignon, you'll find it is a flank steak with bacon around it...still not a bad deal for less than ten dollars.

Constitucion is one of those places you usually stop for gas while passing through if you're driving up or down the Baja....but if you happen to hit it at a meal time, it's pretty hard to know where to eat if you're not a local. I've found myself in the same appealing storefront restaurant on the main drag twice now....and was completely satisfied both times. Asadero Tribi is clean and very Mexican. Owned by Miguel Mosqueda Mendoza, they offer a wide range of traditional Mexican dishes, to appeal to every craving, all prepared to order....with a woman making tortillas in the front of the restaurant. It seems to be a locals favorite because each time I have been there, tables were full of people. The wait staff is sweet and efficient. There's a full bar, too.
The last time I was there, it was with a group of 10 of us whale watchers, on our way to Lopez Mateos....and they had no problem accommodating all of us immediately. Everyone loved what they ordered, so everything is delicious and very very reasonably priced.
