We stayed in the 2 bedroom apartment as a family of 4. It was great for us. Great location and awesome views. A short walk to town down hill. About a 10 minute walk to the ski lifts. The town is really just 2 parallel streets and offered a lot more than I expected. Lots of restaurants, a small theater, a bowling alley and a very close grocery store. The apartment had everything that you would need, although took a little while to find everything (plates were in a drawer under the tv). Blackout electric shutters were a great feature. The only issue at night is that we could hear the people above us stomping around with loud music, but I wouldn't say that's the hotel's fault. Would have been nice to get a quick orientation on the place and some info like how to call the hotel from the apartment (since you have to let them know each night if you will have the buffet breakfast in the morning), the breakfast hours, the code to get into the spa, how to get into town etc. Buffet breakfast at the hotel was good with good coffee, eggs very undercooked though. Dinner at the hotel was very good, but expensive. Rooms could have been cleaner, the bathroom shower had some mold around the door and grouting. I actually couldn't tell if the staff couldn't speak English very well or if they just didn't want to help. An English written sheet with useful information would be very helpful to have on arrival. Les Gets, Morzine and Avoriaz are very close to each other. Just FYI, Apparently Avoriaz is more snowboarder friendly but higher altitude and another windy 30 minute drive from Les Gets. I would say Les Gets is about 10% Snowboarders. Great snow, great trails, great town and pretty easy to get to with low altitude.
