This was for a ski trip and our stay was my 1st visit, and my friend's 4th in this small and personal hotel; so that says a lot!
LOCATION: EXCELLENT; there is a ski shop (Grenier a Skis) directly underneath with favourable rates for hotel guests. From the ski shop, the nearest lift is about 20metres away. The hotel is in the centre of town, but in a side street, so no noisy apres-skiers returning home at 2am!
FOOD: Breakfasts are filling and a cross between a 'French continental' and a 'UK full English, Scottish, etc'. The evening meal is set each morning, though I suspect from chatting with the owner, there is flexibility. There is always an option of Fondue or Raclette, etc. Our visit coincided with the chef's night off and a meal had been arranged in a nearby restaurant.
STAFF: Marie-France (the owner) and her staff are all very friendly and welcoming. They speak good English and are genuinely concerned to make sure you have a good time.
COMMUNICATION: A couple of emails queries prior to arriving were quickly responded to.
ROOMS: They are not large, but are very clean and comfortable and spacious enough for 2 adults - the showers are a bit of a squeeze though for the larger chap like myself.
OTHER FACILITIES: I can't recall seeing mention of a hot-tub on the Booking.com site. But there is one and the dressing gowns and slippers are very welcome when using it - not at the same time of course!!
So in conclusion, a great hotel and we're already planning a return there next year
