Our stay was late June-early July, 2018. The hotel was easy to find, and the staff were efficient and courteous. The rooms were clean and simple, with enough closet space for two and a good safe. We appreciated the modern glassed-in showers and the built-in towel warmer. The grounds were beautifully maintained, and the swimming pool was absolutely the best that I have seen in a hotel. A real bonus in crowded Cassis was the private gated parking. The walk to the beach and down-town restaurants was about 0.5 km, and quite steep. On the other hand, the location gives easy access to roads away from town, so if you are planning to explore Provence by car, you don't have to navigate the narrow crowded streets of down-town Cassis.

We loved our (second) stay in Les Jardins de Cassis.
Situated in a lovely garden+pool. 10 minutes walk down and 15 minutes up from the center with its terraces and restaurants.
Hope to make it again to lively Cassis

Room tip: We could do with a second chair in our room.

Our stay in the hotel started just two days after the official opening of the season, however the hotel staff did their outmost to make our Eastern holiday remarkable.

Rooms are very clean and comfortable, swimming pool is big enough and nice, the area is quiet however with a good connection to the roads.

Thanks a lot!

I stayed here last August with a French colleague for two nights. On our second night we asked the receptionist where would we find a nice bar to go in Marseille for night out- and came back early hours to find shockingly! room door broken into- looted by thieves. They took everything of value - tablet, camera, lenses, some clothes shopping and pocket cash. The total estimated amount between us was more than €3.2k worth of possessions.
We went about calling the police, who quizzed the owner & staff who seemed sympathetic of our situation. As soon as the police left the scene the lady proprietor of this hotel simply offered a coffee, knowing we had no sleep all night, her demeanour became defensive & almost hostile. Ever since the incident the hotel have refused to meet with insurance reps and been less than helpful concerning our compensation- claims. Thats why this review is late, but it seems were being challenged every step by the hotel owner who is behaving deplorably.

Be careful to mind your possessions at this hotel- thankfully i had my passport with me - but this situation could have been even worse for us. The thieves even took my car keys thinking i parked there! Please note - there was NO safe in our room. This incident put a stain on our otherwise enjoyable stay- the room was fine and facilities were good & hotel was short walk down to main beach/town. Such a pity the incident has impacted my first visit to the south of France, Cassis. This whole experience was like a nightmare the last thing you want to happen on holiday- and made worse by unhelpful & unsympathetic staff.

Had the luck to stay here while my family was staying a couple nights. The staff is very kind and thoughtful and respectful. The sonority of the room were were in was not excellent, since we were woken up on sat at 8am by the neighbors getting ready.
The pool is beautiful and well placed for having sun all day. It was too cold to enjoy it but being a swim suit, since there is also a sauna and jacuzzi you can enjoy even when the weather is cold.
Breakfast was good with a choice of bread and cakes but not enough fresh fruits or warm dishes like scrambled eggs. Perhaps fresh orange juice would also be good for the price of 14€.
Overall would come back but in a different room.
